Geolorn’s wide ranging experience across the drilling industry has led to their involvement in large Research and Development projects, with a current focus on deep drilling risk management/mitigation and a reduction in operational costs.
This is particularly important for the exploitation of geothermal energy systems, that can provide 24/7 energy for heating, cooling and increasingly electrical power, all with low emissions, essential for reaching the Net-Zero targets that many governments have committed to.
Working as a team member with some of the world’s leading academic institutions and commercial entities, helping to develop State of the Art drilling systems, that combine novel hardware technologies and newly developed Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence systems.
